Government Training Funding Extended

The deadline for customs training grants has been extended so that businesses can claim the remaining funding. according to the Institute of Export & International Trade.
Make sure you are prepared and get grant funding to cover your costs whilst it is still available. The government is providing funding to help businesses prepare for Brexit by learning key Customs skills and knowledge.
The funding will give you up to 100% of the cost of training for your employees, up to a limit of £2,250 per trainee.
Companies involved in trade as importers or exporters are eligible to apply for the training grant even if you use a third party to complete your declarations.
- The Institute's one day Customs Procedures & Documentation training course covers everything that you will need to know to enable goods to be imported and exported post Brexit.
- Alternatively, our Step by Step guidance on completing Customs Declarations training course will highlight what you need to know to complete customs declarations accurately and efficiently for both import and export of goods, including taking you through step-by-step guidance on completing the SAD C88 form.
