Update to CDS Technical Readiness Meeting

This is an update to the placeholder for the CDS - Technical Readiness Meeting.

Further to the updated invitation to the Technical Readiness Meeting that was issued below, please find attached -

We would be grateful for the completion of the attached questionnaires to be returned via the SDST by 22/11/19.

Dear all,

We are writing to you regarding the Technical Readiness Meeting that is scheduled for Monday 18th November.  We are currently in a pre-election period of restriction, known as Purdah.

Purdah has a direct impact on Civil Servant engagements including the sharing of information with external parties. Some of the content we were planning to cover at this month’s Technical Readiness Meeting is likely to contravene Purdah rules. We have therefore, reduced the agenda items and level of detail that we can discuss. To ensure that we continue to engage with you around CDS development we will hold a 2 hour conference call starting at 11am on Monday 18 November. Please find the dial-in details below.

We know based on previous occasions that you may be inconvenienced by the change. For those people who have made travel arrangements and/or still wish to travel in to London for a 2 hour session we will retain our room booking should you need further time to speak directly to your BRM about any issues. If you are planning on attending in person can you please accept the meeting invite so we can make our security and events team aware of the total number of attendees.

I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but I wanted to ensure you have the opportunity to consider if you would prefer a 2 hour update call or travel to continue with your plans to travel to London.
