Tariff Classification Helpline replaced by email

 The final date of operation of the Tariff Classification helpline will be Friday 28 August 2015. HMRC will continue to provide advice for those customers who need extra help when classifying goods for import or export purposes.  However, from 1 September 2015 the telephone helpline will be replaced by an email enquiry service.
